Crossroads Community Church had three goals for this project:
- Create a website that was more aesthetically pleasing, socially interactive, and usable than their current site
- Reduce staff hours and overhead costs that went into maintaining and updating website regularly
- Establish a platform for the website that would allow for the expansion of content as their congregation and ministry services grew
I created this website on the WordPress platform, which allows their staff to go in and make edits themselves, cutting down on maintenance time and costs. The site got a facelift, and many new features were added to make it more interactive, such as plugins for Facebook and links to their other social media profiles. We expanded the “Small Groups,” “Kids & Students,” and “Staff” sections to accommodate the growth within the church and help visitors navigate all of the new areas.
