While the front-end isn’t all that impressive, this website allowed SPT’s in-house Creative Services department to gather necessary project information from their SPT clients and easily keep track of it all. The clients could submit a form to request a new project, the project manager for Creative Services would get an email notification that info had been submitted, and the project manager could log-in to the backend to manage view project details and mark projects as in progress, completed, etc.
Technically speaking: PHP forms posted to a MySQL database which could be viewed and managed by a password protected AJAX MySQL table editor. Emails were sent to both the client and the project manager when a form was submitted or changed.
